We're taking visitors from July 4th and following government guidance on responsible social distancing. Here's a few things you need to know before you come in.
BEFORE YOU COME IN
Please let us know if you have a high temperature. Don't come in, we can always reschedule. This keeps us all safe and we all have a responsibility towards each others safety.
This is usually against our policy but please come alone as we are social distancing and avoid bringing a lot of items with you. This will reduce the level of contact you have with our environment.
Please arrive on time for your appointment but not too early either! You won't be allowed to sit in the waiting area at this time. Please wait outside and text us when you arrive.
WHEN YOU GET HERE
Please wash your hands on arrival, so avoid wearing too much jewellery, wedding rings are of course allowed. You will also be given gloves and a mask to wear for extra protection.
We will be temperature checking all visitors before entering the clinic. It must be 37.5 degrees or below.
Please use card or phone for any payments so we are not handling cash.
DURING YOUR VISIT
We are operating on Aseptic Non-Touch Techniques and using sterile fields which prevent cross contamination of people and equipment. We always use these techniques when its business as usual, but we thought we'd highlight it again for your peace of mind.
Please avoid taking phone calls and text messaging etc while you are with us as you will be wearing gloves.
AFTER YOU LEAVE
All surfaces, equipment and touch points will be cleaned with chlor-clean, a medical grade disinfectant used at MRI and in other NHS Trusts. Again we have always upheld the highest standards of hygiene but it's even more important now.
All staff will be wearing full PPE.
